Program requirements

  • Completed at least 3 years of a 4-year under graduate degree (many scholars are graduate students and some have began their professional careers).
  • High academic achievements (transcripts and two letter or references required).
  • The program is open to all majors, but academic experiences, skills and competencies that are directly relevant to Peace and Conflict Resolution will be considered heavily in the selection process.
  • Public or community service experience
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Interest in the ethical dimensions of world affairs
  • Openness to a multi-cultural learning experience
  • Foreign language a plus

Travel Information

  • For international participants, the Caux Scholars program will arrange transportation from Mumbai airport to Asia Plateau. International participants are requested to plan their arrival at the Mumbai International Airport either on December 19th, 2019 or early morning of December 20th, 2019.  Those participants who cannot join us at Mumbai by 11 am on 20th December will be required to manage their travels to AP on their own.
  • Indian participants are expected to manage their own travel expenses from place of residence to AP as well as their return travel. CSP-AP team will provide guidance and directions as needed over phone.
  • The program orientation dinner begins at 7 pm on December 20th. Participants must hence reach AP on 20th itself. In case, you miss the orientation, you will be responsible for the same. Departures from AP should be planned on January 11th as the program concludes on January 10th by late evening. Post the program, if participants wish to stay at AP, they will be required to manage paying for it on their own. 
  • Accommodation facility at Mumbai will be arranged for scholars who request for the same.
