CHANGEMAKERS COLLECTIVE FELLOWSHIP
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
Initiatives of Change, India invites you to join the Changemakers Collective Fellowship, a five-month transformative journey based at Asia Plateau. The programme aims to nurture individuals who will create meaningful change in their communities and beyond beginning with themselves.
Fellows will contribute directly to the daily operations of Asia Plateau while engaging in specialized training, self-led initiatives and community-building activities. This equips them with the skills, capacity and mindset necessary to become effective changemakers in their own contexts.
Rooted in the philosophy of Initiatives of Change (IofC), the programme is built on five pillars: Inner Development, Community & Land Service, Leadership, Outreach and Mentorship.

CC | Project Coordinator, HomeNet Thailand | Bangkok | Changemakers Collective Fellowship, 2026
My journey with Changemakers Collective Fellowship just recently ended, but I’m pretty sure that the experience will last with me for a lifetime.
I still miss being there, surrounded by fellows, nature, and silence.
I am still learning and drawing lessons from my memories. The experience in this journey was so rich and useful. It's a whole new world. Asia Plateau is a secret, sacred, and special place that will eternally stay in my heart. What people, culture, nature, weather, wisdom, lessons, and food!
I learned and tasted every dimension of feeling from these 5 months in both soft and hard ways. It's full of content and lessons which shaped me to be a better one from within. I'm so proud of myself for completing the journey and I'm ready to face the future boldly from today.
There will never be another place like Asia Plateau in this world. I will not forget any second of my life there. It's a life-changing experience that I will not hesitate to suggest to others. PRICELESS.
I've been a new member of this special IofC & AP family. It’s a home I will definitely return to. I can't wait to go back there again.
I invite you to be the change you want to see in the world. You don't need a second thought to be a part of this movement.

Dr. Asmita Chaudhari | PhD (Tribal Entrepreneurship Development) | Gujarat | Changemakers Collective Fellows, 2026
Before joining Changemakers Collective, I worked as an Aspirational Block Program Fellow - a flagship programme under NITI Aayog aimed at underdeveloped blocks and maximising the reach of government schemes for citizens living in the border regions of Gujarat and Maharashtra.
When I joined the Changemakers Collective Fellowship at Asia Plateau, I arrived with curiosity but uncertain expectations. My journey there began with a struggle to connect with myself. Yet the fellowship gradually unfolded into a transformative experience of inner growth with real-world learning.
This fellowship was a slow, steady, and powerful process of transformation. I learned that change begins within, in the quiet moments of self-observation, in embracing discomfort, and in showing up even when clarity is absent. Meeting inspiring individuals and witnessing grassroots efforts taught me that leadership is about resilience, empathy, and nurturing relationships. I learned to overcome fear, embrace uncertainty, and find purpose in playing my part, however small.
More than anything, this fellowship gave me lifelong friendships and a renewed sense of commitment to being part of the solution. It equipped me with a clearer sense of purpose, a deeper connection to the values of the Initiative of Change.
Asia plateau is more than a place, it's a living testimony of meaningful personal transformation, power of quiet reflection and dialogue, values and action of simple people committed to honesty, compassion and forgiveness which brings tangible community impact - much needed in the current world to become a better human being.
